As I believe I mentioned in my previous blog, there is video footage! Admittedly, it’s not actually of the performance on the night (my camera guy (aka Goon!) informs me there was too much background noise for it to be any good), but it does have a snippet of the interview filmed on the night at the venue, and a live performance filmed two nights ago in my friends back garden. There was a smaller crowd (Goons parents, Goon, and some of his nosier neighbours), but it’s still live, and was actually harder to play than the gig the week before, becuase it was filmed at about 9pm, and it was freezing!
The song’s called Dead Men’s Shoes, and it’s about a lot of things… the state of my Town, egotism, social climbing, vicious ex-girlfriends… I was in a mixed up mood when I wrote it!
